Why is my Shopify site still showing AUD instead of USD?

I believe all my settings are correct my site is not live yet. My home currency is AUD and multi currency is set up yet when my USA based friends log on it still states AUD for pricing. Any suggestions? shop-smarter.online

Hi @Decon-12 Have you added US and NZD as your market in Shopify, so that shopify can detect that you are willing to sell in international market as well.

If you haven’t set it up and are not aware of how can use this functionality then please follow this link: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets

If you will unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the changes so that this will work well for you.

Hopefully it will help you. If yes then Please don’t forget hit Like and Mark it as solution!

I have AUD and USD selected:

Have you added the custom, Domain which you can select in the market, i.e. if customer will load your site in USA then your custom URL looks like: [www.xyz.com/usa](http://www.xyz.com/usa\)

Single domain should work with shopify

If your market is set up to share the same domain as another market, then the country/region redirection setting automatically detects a customer’s geolocation and adjusts their page to display content (such as currencies and language) that corresponds to their resolved market. For example, if your primary market is United States with USD (johns-apparel.com), and you have a secondary market for Canada with CAD currency that is set using the primary market’s domain, then prices are automatically displayed in CAD when a Canadian customer visits johns-apparel.com

Hi @Decon-12 Yes you are correct, but as you have mentioned that in your store it is not working that’s why I have mentioned it, that you may manually add the custom domain, may be this will solve the issue.
