Why won’t my social sharing image update even though I have changed it in the preferences section? When I embed the URL in texts of share it on social, the image is still the prior one. Does the update take time? The description, however, did update so I am confused. Thanks.

So I will check and provide a solution here.
Because Facebook caches the social sharing image. You have to clear cache with Facebook debugger. Just input your link in debugger and press the scrape button to clear cache.
How about link previews on Skype? I tried Facebook and this tool, social debugger and the preview looks good, however when i try to share it via Skype - it shows the old preview.
