Hello, my shopify store has been ssl pending for more than 72 hours how do i fix this?
Hey @Luxsmile .
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! Did you purchase this domain directly off of the Shopify platform? Or, did you transfer/connect your third-party domain?
If you have transferred your third-party domain to your online store, Shopify will provide the SSL certificate on the domain within 72 hours. If you are noticing that the SSL is not being enabled on the domain, you may need to disconnect the subdomain on the domain in question. You can disconnect the subdomain by navigating to Settings > Domains and selecting the domain that is having this issue. Once you disconnect the subdomain, you will have the option to add it back.
Let me know if that does the trick, looking forward to your response.
that did not work for me
Hey @Luxsmile .
Thanks for the quick response.
If this is a third-party domain, you may need to connect your third-party domain manually by changing your DNS records in your third-party domain provider account. In order to have your third-party domain pointed successfully to your online store, you will need the following DNS records:
-
You want your A record to point to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65
-
You want your CNAME record to point to shops.myshopify.com
If you can confirm that your third-party domain DNS records match, I would recommend that you reach out to our support to have this looked into by logging into your online store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner.
Once you successfully login, or select the option to Continue without logging in - you will be directed to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak with a Support Advisor about the domain.
Let me know if you have any questions.
