Why is my store closed for no reason?
the same thing happen to me yesterday, my account opened yesterday and I haven’t even started to list product, not even start a theme, and they just close my account, I reached out their support yesterday and still waiting. To be honest, I don’t think Shopify is a good choice as they just close people account without any reason. I don’t think they care about customers.

I’m beginning to think that My store has been closed for no reason are either created by:
People pushing bigcommerce.
Seriously, I see two themes here:
a) You are creating a new store and you are selling high risk products:
Yes you are going to be shutdown by either Shopify or Wells-Fargo which is the backer for Stripe Payment.
If Wells-Fargo(Strip) considers you high risk you need to find another payment provider.
If Shopify considers you high risk, they will just shut you down. They need to maintain their reputation, against bots and scams
b) You have been running a store for a long time, making good money, and they shut you down out of the blue:
I find most of these hard to believe. If i had 30 employee’s and doing a million dollar in business, I would be give Shopify 24 hours to fix.
After that is would be a letter from my lawyer to the Shopify legal department, and you can sure that they have the number to the risk department.
I think the biggest problem is that the risk department is severely understaffed. Time is money, and merchants need to have problems, or false-positive risk flags, or misunderstandings fixed fast. I mean less that 24 hours for these cases. For merchants that has a good history with Shopfy, it should be innocent until proven guilty.
