Why is my store theme not visible after adding it?

The store setup makes zero sense.

Once I’ve added a theme I can’t view my store in this theme.

I’ve linked TikTok and cannot view it or vice versa.

The app is so supremely slow that I can’t even go from one page to the next without a long wait.

Whenever I make an edit the app doesn’t keep it.

This app hardly works at all.

Hi, @Joe89 . Thank you for reaching out here! I’m happy to help you out with this. I just have a few questions to make sure I’m giving you the best advice for your situation.

  • Are you using the Shopify mobile app? Have you tried to edit your shop using the browser version of Shopify, or using the Shopify app on another device? If so, have you noticed the same issues on other devices, or with the browser verson?
  • What kind of edits are you trying to make?
  • When you say the app doesn’t keep your edits, do you mean that your changes are immediately reverted after you save them? Or are you noticing that the edits you make change back after some time has passed?

You can view your store with any theme that has been added to your theme library. You can do this by either using the theme preview setting, or by opening the theme editor for the theme you want to preview. To view your theme library go to Online store > Themes in your Shopify Admin. To open a preview for a theme, you can click … > Preview next to the theme you want to view. You can also click Customize next to the theme you want to view to open the theme editor for that theme. The theme editor will allow you to both preview and edit the theme. The TikTok sales channel is supported by TikTok so they will have the most accurate information to help you get this set up with Shopify. You can contact TikTok through their support portal here. You can also use the Get Support button in the TikTok app to be directed to their support queue. This documentation from TikTok has more information that can help as well.
