Why is my virtual Visa card transaction still pending on Shopify?

Why does my Shopify virtual Visa card still say it’s pending a transaction I already purchased? This is what it says in the screenshot: “ The transaction is pending. A transaction receipt will be available once it’s posted.” I use the card for dropshipping. How long does it take to post??

It sounds like the transaction you made with your Shopify balance card is pending. Sometimes, transactions can take a few days to be processed and posted. This can depend on the merchant, the payment processor, and the banks involved.
