Why is my website roseternal.com not loading with an SSL protocol error?

I bought the domain roseternal.com December 16 on Shopify and I couldn’t go on it. It says

This site can’t provide a secure connection

roseternal.com sent an invalid response.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
I tried local fixes but I don’t think it’s local because when I do it on my phone it also says that same thing. I even tried with a different internet. However the website loads with my phone data. I’m worried that people won’t be able to access my website. Any recommendations?

An ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR may indicate the following:

  • When a website cannot provide a secure connection.
  • Issues on the website, such as not forcing HTTPS.
  • Not having an SSL certificate.

However, after checking your domain’s DNS settings and navigating to your website, I’m unable to replicate the error message you’re receiving. Were you able to resolve this issue on your end? Please see the screenshot below of the view on my device.

Lastly, have you thought about integrating your social media platforms into your website? You can add your social media icons in the footer section of your store through your Shopify admin > Online Store > Customize section. Within the theme editor, select Theme Settings (left-hand side) > Social media. You will be able to input the URL of each of your social media handles.

Oh so It seems like you can access it, but I can’t, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Could you advise what device and browser you’re using? I was also able to navigate to your website using an iOS device and Safari browser.

In the meantime, I recommend going through the following troubleshooting steps:

I did everything but still not able to access it, I’m pretty sure it’s my internet that’s blocking the website because it works when I’m on my phone data. A couple days ago I used to get “Suspicious site blocked” error when going on my website and it had my internet’s logo next to it. Somehow my internet thinks my site is malicious or something. I ran a few online tests and this is what it says

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Try another internet connection (for example, switch to a cellular network on a phone rather than wifi). This can help eliminate a weak internet connection or ISP issue providing errors.
  • Contact your internet provider directly.
  • Ensure there are no pop-ups being blocked in the web browser. This eliminates any missed popups, such as a new tab required to be opened for functionality.
  • Select “allow popups” from the device/browser. Google the browser/device to find catered solutions.
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls, VPNs (virtual private networks) enabled on your device or network blocking Shopify. This eliminates firewalls or VPNs from providing errors.
