Hiya,
Ive got an issue with website showing up as blocked for one person.
I wanted to ask whether it’s normal to have two links to my domain in the Shopify settings? I use GoDaddy.
Alternatively is this an issue caused by my domain lacking ssl certification?
Hi, @PlantJapan .
Welcome to the Shopify Community, and thanks for sharing your questions.
I understand that one customer is unable to view your website from Instagram. Is this affecting other customers? Are you able to view the same issue on your end? For visibility, could you share the link to your website/Instagram so our team can try and replicate the error?
The error message Access to this website is blocked means that the user is unable to visit or view this specific page. This restriction can occur due to various reasons, such as censorship, network restrictions, content filtering, or the website being unavailable or offline.
Could the customer try using another device, reopening Instagram to see if the issue still presents itself?
In terms of the screenshot within your Settings > Domains section, this does not look to be an issue. The first section is your Primary Domain (which is the custom domain) connected to your store.
The second domain is your .myshopify.com domain. Your .myshopify.com domain is the URL or web address where your customers go to find your store online. By default, your online store was given a myshopify.com URL when you signed up for Shopify.
The third domain is your primary domain which redirects to (www.yourdomain.com)
If you’re able to provide a bit more information regarding the customer who is experiencing access issues via Instagram, this can help our team.
