My shopify website have been working fine for some time now and suddenly i get an error message (“cant reach this site”) when trying to enter my website. I can also see that the website no longer has an SSL certificate. I have checked my DNS settings for the domain and everything seems to be fine. I was wondering if there could be any other reason for this happening or if i just need to wait 48 hours to get the SSL certificate back. In the domains section it says (action required) to the right of the domain i use. If you need more information to understand the problem, just ask.
While I don’t have access to review the domain status currently it sounds like your domain may have expired or wasn’t able to renew.
You can check the domain status from within your domain host, either through your Shopify admin or third party domain host account. If your domain is hosted through Shopify and was due to renew recently, you will be able to see the charge on your Shopify invoice in your billing section. If you are unsure of the status of your domain I would suggest reaching out to our live support so we can authenticate your account and review it with you.
