Why is "Number of columns on desktop" not rendering on every multicolumn section?

I am able to select how many columns I want to view on desktop with the multicolumn option, but on certain pages, that option completely disappears. Does anyone know why this is happening? The first screenshot shows all the options in the customizer, the second screenshot shows a different page where the option is not seen. On the second page, I have 6 columns, so I know it is not an issue regarding a single column.

Any advice is appreciated!

This issue is due to code in theme files. Multi column code will be hard coded there so that’s why its not working.

Good to know. So would it be best for me to look through my files and look for irregularities? It is frustrating that not all pages are set up the same way. Any advice on how to fix this issue is very appreciated.
