This is an odd issue to have… but I am getting increasingly nervous.
I have a single customer who has spent an awful lot of money recently. Multiple orders, sometimes in one day, sometimes the same thing more than once. I can see they come online and search multiple times a day also… and as soon as I post something up - they have it. Even taking pieces I had made for other people in my ‘bespoke order’ page. Its very odd. They never ever leave a review or send photos of them wearing it - which alot of my lovely regular customers do - I am lucky to have a loyal crowd of mostly ladies who follow me and what I get up to.
This feels wrong. I just can’t put my finger on it. They will only pay by credit card and only via my shopify store.
I have challenged them, kindly, just to say as a sole maker this is very unusual and to make sure they really meant to repeatedly order all my designs. And got lots and lots of messages back apologising and the next day buys even more.
As a maker, I am uncomfortable. Anyone got any ideas what could be happening here ? I use Shopify as I am hoping its a safe and simple environment to trade online… I am a jewellery maker… deffo not a techo whizzkid.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received…
