Why is only one blog post displaying on my Dawn theme homepage?

Hello All,

For the Dawn theme home page, the blog post section is only displaying 1 out of 2 blogs. I have made sure that each blog has the “visable” box checked and the theme settings for the blog posts section under customize says display 2. However still only one of my blogs is showing up on my home page. Any help on this ? I would like both my blog posts to show side by side. Thank you!

@Royals57 - is the blog page added to that category where you want it to appear?

Hello @Royals57

Would you mind taking a picture for me so I can get an idea of how you have the settings set in the theme?

Thank you and hope to hear from you.

I’m having the exact same problem with mine!! I have a different theme but only 1 blog post is showing. And everything shows visible, it’s published, it’s listed for blog. Everything on all the other blog posts are exactly the same as the one that is showing. I’m stumped too!

@MillerL - are you blog posts added to required categories and are those made visible?

I’ve figured it out!! Under Navigation, go to main menu, blog, Edit. Under Edit you must LINK the blog posts with the blog! I had mine under News, and it was linked just with Blog, not Blog Posts. I linked with Blog Posts and they’re all showing now!

Still a touch confused. Here is the image. I have two blogs and even tho my setting is set to show both, only one is showing on my home page " blog posts" section. I see people have 2-4 side by side blog posts where mine is only allowing one at a time. I dont want these as a menu item, Just a homepage Feature.

Ok, I’m not sure how you would put your blog as a homepage feature. I have mine as a menu item that you can click on, when you click blog then the page comes up with all my blog posts on it.

Try going to Navigation.

Then click on Main Menu which shows home page in it.

then edit your home page

Click home page and in that drop down, click BLOG POSTS then click APPLY CHANGES.

See if this works. That’s how I did it but I did mine on the menu portion instead of the home page.

I fixed it!! I had to go into the blog edit its self, and on the right side “organization” section I had to make sure both blogs were under the same name for the “blog” drop down option. Almost as if it was a collection grouping. Thank you all! Now onto my next problem lol
