Also to help with anyone else in this situation, here is what happens per an automatic update on my order where this recently happened: “Facebook & Instagram sales tax will be deducted from your Aug 30, 2024 payout.” So, while at first it does show the tax collected coming into shopify with the order, it is then seemingly taken back by Facebook/Instagram from your payout.
