Why is Shopify's phone support no longer available?

I have used shopify for years on three shops. Loved them for the apps and support.

Tried to reach out tonight on a new shop/ company I made. There is no longer phone support!WTH!

First of all, what happened to alllll those jobs across the world of people over the phone in other countires to provide 24/7 assistance??? That was the best thing they had going for them, always super knowledgeable and helpful people! ALWAYS!

Secondly chat support is the WORST!!! Sent a simple chat question asking about why my local pick up isnt showing up as an option at check out. I had to resend the question three times in three ways, for the person to understand!! THREE!! They still didnt get it. It took 5-10 minute for them to respond after any communication from me.

I guess they have cut all workers, and they must be helping dozens of people at the same time. No wonder they don’t understand the question or what I need help with. Imagine if it was a bigger more confusing issue!!??!!

I will have to find another site to put my items on the web!

I have just experienced this same crap. I’m shopping for a new option for my two stores. I may be small now, but I expect to be big soon. I need PHONE SUPPORT…not some mindless chat I can only access on my phone.

I’m trying to figure out what has upset me the most…an increase in the fee or the fact that the CONTACT feature was no longer available on my iPad. Oh, I know what was worse. The audacity of the Chat person telling me to send them screenshots of the issue. What was I going to send a screenshot of? There were no options to make contact.

BRING BACK PHONE SUPPORT!!!
