So I was installing the Google app and it has stopped saying that I need to add a Refund Policy and a Term of Service in the footer. I have both of these pages in the footer, so I am unsure as to the issue the app is having seeing the pages. Has anyone had this happen and how was it solved?

Thanks for your question. I assume you are referring to the Google Channel App developed by Shopify? If so, you are correct that Google requires you to have your store policies easily accessible.
This requirement is met by adding your policies under Admin > Settings > Policies and then linking these policies to the footer of your page. Once successfully connected, this will be automatically marked as complete.

Thank you for your reply, but as I had mentioned I have the Refund Policy and the Terms of Service in the footer of my page. For some reason the Google Channel App is not seeing them. This is the main issue I am running into. So until it can recognize they are there I am stuck.

Can you please confirm if you have also added these policies to your Admin > Settings > Policies section? It’s very important that these are first set-up here, and later linked to your footer from here.
This is different from creating the policies on a page and linking it to your footer that way.

Sorry was super busy. Yeah for some reason my Refund and Terms were missing in the Policies under the settings. It is all good now. Thank you.
