More than one person was editing the page on the team I think and some how the change revisions got out of sync. The live about page and preview is different for just the about page, from when you click the button to customize your theme. Is there anything that can be done to fix the issue? I’ve never had this happen before. I was just changing some of the content wording and nothing major. Is there a way to take your live store theme and force it to overwrite the customize theme about me page information? (There are some images and other things missing from the live about me page on the customize about me page) I forgot to make a backup before I changed the wording. So there is no backup to go back to. I tried duplicating the page but the issue was duplicated. It won’t let me update the live theme about me page. Or rather it lets me change things, but then I save it and it doesn’t take effect, so making any changes to the about me page don’t work at all.
I am using the Honey 4.0.0 Theme
Same problem. Did you find a solution?
Hi there, @HealthyLife and @Bobderiemer . Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with these theme editor issues! It sounds like you’e both experiencing something very odd; changes that you’re trying to make to a specific page aren’t saving as expected, correct?
For situations like these, we’ll want to have a member of our Support Team be able to dive into your store and investigate, and also try to replicate the issue on their end. In order to accomplish this, we’ll want you to reach out to our Support Team via our AI Assistant. Let our AI know that you’re having issues making changes in the Theme Editor, and it will provide you with prompts to get connected with one of our Advisors, who will be able to access your store and dive into the situation to help find a resolution.
