Why is the 'Share Preview' button missing in my online store theme?

I know it’s possible to share a preview of your store with someone even if it’s password protected. You go to the theme within the Online Store section. Select ‘preview’ from the dropdown list, and when that page opens, you should see a purple ‘Share Preview’ button. The only problem is that purple button says ‘Customize’ for me and it takes me to the theme customization screen.

The odd thing about this issue, is that it worked yesterday, and is still working on the free themes I have on my site. Not sure how to fix this. Hopefully someone has an answer…

Bump. This is happening to me now too.

Here are some related errors I see:

A preload for ‘https://cdn.shopify.com/shopifycloud/shopify/assets/admin/style-b79115bbdc011f28f2957d9539ef45c64fd56d5c9c71154e1e54b81031a2319c.css’ is found, but is not used due to an integrity mismatch.

The resource https://cdn.shopify.com/shopifycloud/shopify/assets/admin/style-b79115bbdc011f28f2957d9539ef45c64fd56d5c9c71154e1e54b81031a2319c.css was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.

It doesn’t happen on the site’s debut theme so its related to the theme we installed.

Found the solution,

You just need to change the active theme , and re-try with the Theme Preview of the theme you need to share, The share button would be there.

Hello,

Is there a solution to this issue? I can’t change a different theme to be the active theme as the site is live and the other theme is not approved yet. Any help would be appreciated!
