I just noticed today that the sort by menu is not working on my online store. I’m not sure how long this has been the case though. Today I edited some code in my store so it displays the current stock levels on my product pages but I don’t know if that caused the problem (I used the guide on this site to edit it: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/themes-by-shopify/vintage-themes/customizing-vintage-themes/show-remaining-quantity?section=Debut ). Everything else seems to work fine in the store, it’s just that the sort by menu is blank when I go to collections page and when I click sort by and select for example Price low to high, nothing happens.

Any idea what might have caused this and how to fix it?

It’s possible that the changes you made to display current stock levels on your product pages may have inadvertently affected the functionality of the sort by menu on your Shopify store.

Do you have some backup themes? or if you made the changes with online editor then the previous code will be there in the history.
