I’m using the Dawn theme, and I’ve noticed a frustrating issue with how product images are displayed.

For example, on this product:

I’ve manually set a specific cover photo in the product admin (Image B), but on the live site, Shopify keeps showing the first variant image (Variant A) as the main image when the product page loads.

It seems like the theme prioritizes the first variant image instead of respecting the set cover image. I want the cover image I choose to always show first — not whatever image is tied to the first variant.

Is there a workaround for this? Maybe a setting or code tweak to stop the variant image from overriding the main cover?
