Why is there no live chat for Shopify shop owners to speak to support?

Is anyone else sick and tired of going around in circles on this site?

I have been trying to find an avenue to actually speak to one of the Shopify team to no avail, every time I click a subject my query isn’t answered and I select the contact help button for it to take me back to my shop selection to take me back to the main help menu, time and time again, I have literally never been so frustrated by a website that is charging a monthly fee to list on and a cut of the sale!

If they are charging us a fee to list with them the least we could have is someone in real time to help with any issues. Especially when they’ve charged for a sale that was refunded.

If you’re finding that the Help Centre is looping you back when trying to use it, I’d recommend you do a few checks on the browser you’re using to access it first.

The first, most important step you can take here is to clear the cache on the browser you’re using to access support.

This is the most common solution we have seen for merchants experiencing what you described here.

If you’re still not able to proceed to view your support contact options after clearing the cache on your browser, the next thing we can check is to ensure your browser has been updated and is one of the supported browsers for use with Shopify.
