Using UPS to send 42lbs packages, calculated it correctly first few orders, now I notice several orders marked with the UPS calculated weight being 53lbs. Product still has the correct weight marked, any ideas why UPS calculator is adding weight?
Solved* Had set a preset package size that was accidently marked as 11lbs

Where are you seeing the UPS weight being 53lb compared to the 42lb product weight? Any full-page screenshot you can provide showing the 53lbs would be helpful.
Also, you will want to take into consideration the weight of the packaging used combined with the weight of the product. You can set your preferred package types on the shipping and delivery settings page.
