Why is USPS calculation costing more than expected?

I added a international zone and applied a $3 handling fee

but the cost it way more then needed. My item was only 1 ounce.

item weight is right but there is no package selected for calculate rates? Where do I put in a package to use so I can check its weight? I have many package sizes set up, but when selecting calculated I do not get an option to use a package.

My items are set up like this.

this question is about the cables ( last item) There is no weight option.

so the total shipping weight is 1.1 OZ, that’s not $35 according to USPS. My only other guess is the variation app I use. I will reach out to them.
