Why is UTM data missing in API pulled order details?

So I’m using the API to pull the Shopify order details and want to use the UTM information to determine the acquisition source.

  1. We’ve got the tracking setup so the vast majority of orders have UTMs associated with them (inside of the conversion details)

  2. When pulling the order details via API, many of the orders LOSE the UTM data.

  3. After spot-checking dozens of orders, many have UTM data inside of Shopify but aren’t making it into the API pull.

Anyone experienced this? Is there a solution?
