Hey so I just bought an American number (I am in UK) so I can advertise on Google Shopping. When I try add the number in shopify setting with the address is says the number needs to be 10 digits but mine is 11. I have checked it is working but I do not know what to do as Shopify insist the number be 10 digits… Any advice?

I can confirm that the standard American telephone is 10-digits; however, it’s also 11-digits when including the US/Canada country code (+1). So if your number is 11-digits and starts with 1 (eg. 1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX or 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX), then the country code is included in the phone number format. To resolve this, you can skip the 1 and enter the remaining 10-digits in your Shopify settings.
