I have been going round and round with Shopify after I experienced a second roof collapse in my shop in ten months. This was due to a faulty fire suppression system that froze and flooded everything and collapsed the roof. Originally Shopify put a hold on payouts but would accept sales. This created an even bigger problem as I could not start to manufacture these orders in our second shop which was 60% damaged. They also held 15% of the sale in reserve which I was happy to do. After a month of back and forth, they finally emailed me and said they would lift the hold and release the balance to me. That was four days ago and still nothing. This has become a major problem as some of the orders are now 2-3 weeks old and I don’t have the funds. Multiple emails asking for help have gone unanswered. Please any Ideas would be welcome.
