My checkout fails to update a product selected, it is stuck with the same product I chose to do a test with at the beginning, even when I try to choose another product, at checkout the product I chose to proceed to checkout with, won’t appear but will appear the product I had chosen at the first I tried the trial, it seems frozen in some sense, I have tried refreshing multiple times in a spun of a few days but nothing changing and I don’t know what else to do.
Hey @jimi2 ,
Welcome to the Shopify Community!
Without being able to see your checkout, it’s difficult for me to establish what is happening. Would you mind sharing your website URL with me so I can take a closer look?
Look forward to hearing from you!
@jimi2 ,
I just replicated your issue via my browser and was able to add products to the cart and reach checkout successfully. Is this problem occurring on one particular product? Or have you tried multiple?
I’d be curious to know if we can isolate what you’re seeing to your device or browser. Would you mind testing a few things for me?
-
Clear your cache and cookies - when you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
-
Ensure your browser is up to date.
-
Try an Incognito window.
-
Try another browser (e.g. Safari).
-
Try completing the same steps on your phone, using data rather than WiFi.
Looking forward to hearing how that goes!
tried using incognito mode but the problem was still there but using safari it was ok no issue, thank you, but also my 2checkout gateway continuously gives me a ‘PE106’ ERROR CODE, can you help me with this?
@jimi2 ,
Because you are using a third-party payment gateway, I can’t be sure what is causing the error but I do know that the best next step in this kind of situation is to double-check that the payment gateway is integrated properly and that your account with 2checkout is in good standing.
If you are not seeing any error messages or issues with your 2checkout account I would then contact them directly to see if they had a service outage or something similar. In the interim, it may be a good idea to enable a different payment gateway if possible on your store or to pause your store so that customers do not continue to encounter errors like that.
