Why isn't my collection description showing on the collection page?

when I add a description to my collection it does not add to the collection page, can anyone help with this?

As @StoreSurgeon has mentioned, it would be best to share your store URL to allow our team to take a closer look at your storefront/collection to further investigate.

In the meantime, could you share more information on the following:

  • To confirm, you’ve followed the steps in our collection layout and appearance resource when adding a description?
  • Does the description not display for all collections or specific collections?
  • When clicking into your Shopify admin, Products > Collections and adding the Description, does it allow you to save? Are there any error messages present?
  • What theme are you using?
  • Could you share a screenshot of the Collection Description?
  • Have you tried adding the Collection Description and previewing your store in a fresh Shopify theme?
