Why isn't my contact form email sending?

Hi All

I was wondering if I could get some assistance about the standard Contact form from within my site. When I test it, I don’t receive the email.

So far I have:

  • Checked that my domain is confirmed
  • Checked my spam/junk mail
  • Tested sending to the email address manually
  • Check the discussion boards for any obvious answers

When I use the Contact Form, it says that it has been sent, but it never appears. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Also, I haven’t been able to find the link to submit a Shopify Support request. Does it exist? Can you share it please?

If you’re using a Shopify-supported theme, then we’d be happy to take a closer look at your account. While we’re unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

That being said, if you’re using a third-party or custom theme, then we’d recommend getting support for your theme from the theme developers. However, if the theme developers don’t offer customization support, then you can consider hiring a developer to assist you with this type of theme. Should you need help finding a developer for your store, then we’d recommend taking a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Partners.
