Why isn't my CSS editing reflecting changes in the preview?

I must be doing something basically wrong with the css editing, because none of the answers I am getting are working.

I think I have made mistakes with the basic workflow process and a lack of understanding of how this all works.

Originally, I made a copy of the Taste theme. I then created separate templates for each page because I wanted a variety of layouts. I have been struggling to make changes on each of the pages.

Step 1) When I am trying to do any editing I select the Bles Wold theme I have created (which I have copied from the taste them that appears under the theme library.) and then under actions I select edit code.

Step 2) I then select base.css
Step 3) I paste the css from the answer I got from the forum

When I select the preview button at the top right of the page I do not see any changes after saving the file.

Am I making the edits in the wrong theme? Because I do see the changes showing up in the original theme I copied to customize.

while Looking at the preview you should see the preview of unpublished theme in private browser because when you save code in unpublish theme it cant reflect the changes because of the cached stored from published theme!

I hope this will solve your problem by the way you are putting the code in right direction so please try preview in incognito window mode in browser in try in private browser!

OMG, I can’t believe that was the issue. I was doing ctrl +R refreshing ( hard refreshes) of my browser and not seeing the edits until I viewed them in a private window.
