Why isn't my custom font changing back to default on Dawn?

couple of days ago, i added some codes for a custom font and it worked

but then i decided to not go with it anymore (go back to default font) and deleted the coding for it

going back into customizing it, i realized the headings are not being changed once i change the ‘heading’ fonts

but instead it follows the ‘body’ font changes.

I’ve just had the exact same issue. I updated the custom code to change my fonts then tried to change it back and all the fonts are now using the ‘body’ font rather than the body, and heading fonts. I now have a site with only 1 font across the whole site.
