I saw that the default blog name was news, so I added another blog which I wanted a different name for, then I deleted the news blog, so now I have the one with my chosen name, but no matter what I can’t get it to show up in the menu, even though I added the page blog as a separate page and set it and the posts to visible.
Topic summary
A custom-named blog isn’t appearing in the Dawn theme’s navigation after the default “News” blog was deleted. The user created a new blog, added a separate blog page, and set both the blog and posts to visible, but the menu still doesn’t show it.
A responder suggests the issue is with navigation setup and shares a YouTube tutorial (https://youtu.be/mYCitd-c1T8) explaining how to correctly configure a blog and pages for menu display.
The original poster thanks them and says the video clarified the page creation process, indicating progress, but does not confirm whether the blog now appears in the menu.
Status: partially resolved. Action item is to follow the video’s steps for proper navigation configuration. No concrete confirmation or final resolution is recorded.
Hi @TheColormobile ,
My understanding is you are having problems with having the blog show in the navigation. If so please check the video below
Many thanks, this helped clarify the process of Page creation.
