And yeah I double checked the requirements and if I’m writing the valid code or not. I have been using the discount codes for some time. Only this one I’m having a problem with.
Expected outcome is if the user adds a product in a cart, he/she would get a another product I predefined for free. But that didn’t work. I thought it was because the user had to add all the products in the cart but it was debunked since I’ve tried it with another code with one variant. Didn’t work again.
Just found the solution while explaining it to you. The free item should also be in the cart. That’s why the code wasn’t redeemable. We expected it to add the free product to the cart after the coupon was applied. Is there a function like that in shopify coupons? If not we can mark this as solved.
