I appreciate the screenshots that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! Just to gather some additional context, did you make any custom coding changes to your Dawn theme?
In order to successfully add your favicon to your online store, you will need to navigate to the Theme Editor. Once you are editing the theme, you can select the theme settings located on the left side of the page. After that, you should see the favicon to make sure an image has been uploaded. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
Yes, I added minor codes to Dawn theme, i.e. RTL, adjust footer spacing, open links in new window tap .. etc
And I doubled check the Favicon asset and the photo is uploaded. The file uploaded named “Favicon.png” and its dimensions are 32x32. Have cleared the cash and tried another browser same thing.
In this case, since the Dawn theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to allow our internal team to take a further look at the issue.
If you would like to use the design time, you will need to login to your store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before speaking directly with a Support Advisor about the favicon.
