Why isn't my first payment showing in the transaction history?

Got my “Your first payout is on its way!” email. I only created two test payments:

#1001 - £15.50 - no fees taken and not recorded anywhere on my first payment
#1002 - £31.00 - charges 2.2% + 20p = 88p

any ideas why I #1001 has not been processed on my first payout?

If no fees were taken, then I suspect the first order was paid through an alternative payment method and not Shopify Payments. You can check this by opening the order and scrolling down to the order timeline to see which payment provider appears.

For example, if the order was processed through Paypal instead of Shopify Payments, then the funds would have been deposited into your Paypal account. You can see what payment providers you have enabled in your store by going to Settings/Payment Providers.
