Hi,
I uploaded a GIF to my files successfully and entered the html into my product page; however, when I click preview I cannot see it. Instead I see a small image and no GIF. When I press the button “Show HTML” I can see the code, which looks right to me but the GIF doesn’t display.

It looks like you still have your password page setup for your store. If you aren’t ready to disable the password page yet, can you please go into your store admin and under Online Store > Preferences and change the password page password temporarily. You can share that here and we can have a look and help troubleshoot.
Once we get that resolved you can set the password to a new one! Also to clarify, this is not your account login password. This is the password to bypass the “coming soon” password page for your store.
