I am trying to learn and use workflows for inventory and publishing or hiding products that are out of stock (or have no images) among other things.
I can’t seem to get this Workflow to “trigger”. If I go to the product and select it and click Run Flow it says there are no workflows that are triggered – despite the inventory at all locationos being zero.
What am I missing ?? I am new to this
I have a screenshot of the “Sold Out” item on my website and the the Shopify product page and the workflow
I also included a Workflow that is supposed to hide products form my online sales channel that don’t have pictures - but it doesn’t seem to work either ??
Thank you for trying – it tried changing date and time and it still does run. It’s kinda weird because it kinda seems like none of my Flow Automations work, even prior working Flows stopped working.
I’m not sure if maybe I should re-install the app or see why it might have stopped working in general. Yesterday a number of “out of stock” items were imported by an app/service called Next-Cart but it didn’t trigger the Flow – even tried to manually run the flow on an out of stock item and it said nothing available to trigger a flow even though the item was clearly out of stock.
So maybe there is an issue where Flow isnt working in general??
Maybe the “Out of stock” trigger triggers when a product has 1 item in stock, then someone bought it making it out of stock, then that trigger is triggered.
Product Variants are not yet supported by by the Run Flow Automation feature. We’re looking into how we can support this as an enhancement so check back later.
The Trigger you’re using in the example (Product variant out of stock) is associated with a specific product variant, which the Run Flow Automation does not support yet. The Run Flow Automation feature currently works with orders, draft orders, customers and products. More information on the feature can be found in the Running workflows manually in Shopify Flow help docs.
