I have set up a location for Local Pick, and have received an order however I am only able to fulfill the order not change the status to “Ready for Pick up”, the order is also not showing in the POS app for this particular location. For what I can tell they did receive an order confirmation email but I am not able to send out the automated ready for pick up as I have no way of changing the status. They did pay with Apple Pay, I am wondering if that is the issue as from what I’ve read on this form it was an issue at one point.
Following we have similar issues with the pickup feature in the POS app. We have many customers come in person to place orders to pick up in the future also some orders are placed in person and require delivery. We have reached out to Shopify and they said it will only work if we use the main shopify app for those orders.
