Why isn't my product counter updating on Shopify?

When I perform a product search on Shopify and click to add an item to the cart, I notice that the cart badge does not update to reflect the added product.

  • Can you let me know what theme you’re using in your store?
  • Have you recently added any new apps to your shop?
  • When did you first notice this was happening?
  • Can you provide me with a URL to the store so I can test this in real-time?
  • Are you able to replicate the problem when testing the same steps in a different theme? You can download a free theme from this link and test it.
