As a starting point, can you please confirm which theme you’re using on your site? You can find this information directly in your Shopify admin under ‘Online store > Themes > Current theme’.
Equally, is the filter you’re using a feature that’s built into your theme, or are you using a third-party app for this? If you’re using an app, and if the app was downloaded from the Shopify App Store, I recommend reaching out to the app developers directly for more help with setting up the app correctly. You can contact these developers by following the steps listed here.
Can you please also share a few screenshots or screen recordings with me here that show the specific problems you’re running into with the filtering on your site? That way, I can help take a closer look into this.
