Why isn't my Product Recommendations Section Showing?

I am using Ride Theme.

On my default product page, I have the section “Product Recommendations” enabled. But I do not see it on my product page. It’s missing.

I added two screen shots below. The second screenshot, I drew a rectangle of where the Products Recommendations section should be. I even reset my them and I have the same issue. Any idea what’s causing this?

Hi @delta1seven1 .

If your store is relatively new, it could be that there isn’t enough data on your store yet for the product recommendations algorithm to be showing recommended products. These could be things such as:

  1. Not enough purchase history
  2. No similar product descriptions between your store’s products
  3. There are no other items within the collection that the product belongs to, or only one large collection exists on your store

To confirm however, you’ve tested a different Shopify theme on your store and was still unable to see any recommended products, correct? If this is the case, then it’s likely that your store doesn’t have enough data for the product recommendation to show recommended products at this time. If you’ve tested a different Shopify theme and it’s showing recommended products however, then there might be another factor that’s causing your Ride theme in not showing any recommended products. In this case, I recommend getting in touch with our live support team so that we can authenticate you against the correct store, and work together in investigating this matter further. Because you are using a Shopify theme, our live support team can also speak with our themes specialists, if need be, to take a closer look at your theme from our end.
