Hi, I’m new to shopify and I am having a problem with shipping. I tried to set it up to where if someone put a new item in their cart the new weight will be added and calculated to the shipping total. When I test this and select two items I keep getting the same calculated amount. Also I have a “small package” selected to calculate shipping but even if that small package is selected I keep getting the same shipping amount at check out no matter how many items I add to my cart. For an example my product is 1.3oz and my package is 3oz and even when I added 50 more items I still just get a rate of $7 in shipping, I’m not sure what I did wrong. Also do I have to create my own shipping rate and figure out how much to charge depending on the carrier?
Hi so I added 2 of the same product and it’s still at “$3.62” so is it because my items are in oz? When I added 60 items, my shipping cost was $8 with usps. I’m just trying to make sure this is all accurate before I launch.
