I bought a domain that ended in .shop and tried to transfer it to my store and it said .shop isn’t supported? So… I went to buy one via Shopify and the available choices have .shop in the list???

While Shopify supports the purchase and transfer of most popular domains, including .com, .org, .net and .biz, there are some domains that we aren’t able to transfer in. This is because every domain type has their own rules, procedures and policies. As you’ve experienced on your end however, you’ll most likely still be able to purchase the domain directly from Shopify, but just not transfer an already existing one.
Alternatively, if you’re looking to continue using the domain you currently have with your third-party provider, you can instead connect it to your Shopify store rather than transferring it in.
