I have been experiencing the same issue.
I have been sharing the links to my website since I have created it until now. I did not make any changes to the image / logo since I started my website. I have been sharing the link no issues until about a week ago when the images just did not show up when I shared the link. I have tried to find out a solution and reduced the size of the image and I have tried completely changing the image, both still does not work. I mainly share the link on whatsapp but I also use facebook, instagram and other social platforms
Hi Julie - I still canāt get this to work. Iāve already updated the URL preview image in my Shopify Preferences, however it is still not showing up in Facebook Debugger nor has it changed when I share the store URL. Can you please help me look into it?

When sharing the website link on facebook it is showing another logo which is not used anywhere on the store.
I tried changing the image in Online Store>Preferences and also tried https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ but my issue still persists. The issue is happening only on the homepage. Other pages are showing the proper image.

I have tried all of the above steps. I am using the highlight theme. Entered all the details in Preferences, when I use face debugger I am getting a āCurl error: 61 (BAD_CONTENT_ENCODING)ā error. What can I do in this case. We do not have a facebook page for the brand yet. Please advise on the next steps.
Having the same issue!! Using social sharing option and still no image. Image parameters are correct. Tried jpg and png and it wonāt pull it. Refreshed multiple times in debugger. Also doesnāt show correctly on X or Linkden either
