Hello, I have tried to follow the other suggested posts on here to collect taxes but my shop is still not collecting them at checkout. What can I do?
What steps have you tried already? A few things to check:
- Are all taxes included in the price? You can check this in Settings/Taxes at the bottom of the page.
- Are your products taxable? You can check this on per product level or by using the bulk editor
- Do you have tax rates set up for the countries you wish to charge tax to? You can check this in Settings/Taxes.
Let me know what you find out.
Hi, Trevor. Following up on this topic. I have all the taxes settings set so that 1) UNCHECKED the box for taxes being included in the price, 2) added tax information for my state and our tax id 3) ensured every item is categorized for being taxed. When I do a test run for a checkout it shows the taxes being calculated before payment. However, when I receive an actual order from a customer, the taxes are still not being collected. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
Any luck with this? I am also having the same issue.
