Why isn't my video auto-playing on the slideshow page?

My video is not automatically playing on the Shopify slideshow page. This was working a few days ago until lately I’m still trying to figure out what the issue is. The video seems not to play until I tap on it, which is not feasible. A few of my customers informed me about the issue and there is no option for me to allow this video to play automatically I wouldn’t have noticed it. please if anyone can help me that would be great.

Maybe you change the setting of your browser so it is not autoplay on your side.

I’m checking on my side both mobile and desktop, video is auto play

Thank you for the prompt response. I just asked a friend of mine to check on this phone and he said it didn’t play automatically on his phone. He had to tap on it first before it started playing. Any recommendation? I’ve tried to check both Google Chrome and Safari browser settings on my phone. not sure how to fix this issue

I have checked on both Chrome and Safari browsers. I guess this is cause by the privacy settings of devices

Hey there, I know this is about a year old, but I was looking at your website (both on desktop and mobile iphone 11) and I’m seeing that your video banner plays on both. Can you share the solution? Are you using a certain theme/app that is allowing the video to autoplay on mobile? I’m still trying to figure this out. Thanks!
