Why isn't my webpage displaying when clicked or searched?

Hi, @Impressionist .

Welcome to the Shopify Community and thanks for stopping by.

I understand you’re experiencing a display issue when searching for your website. I’d like to gather a bit more context to effectively troubleshoot the issue with you.

Could you provide more details on the following:

  • Please share the full URL to your website so I can try replicating the issue.
  • What browser(s) and device(s) is this happening on?
  • Can you share a screenshot of the display issue?
  • Are customers able to replicate the display issue?

I look forward to your reply and working together to have this resolved for you.

Hi Victoria

Thanks for your reply email.

To answer questions.

This has happened on Andriod phone and tablet, Iphone, windows computer.

Yes I have asked friends to check to see if they can get onsite and they have answered no.

Here is a photo of what comes up.

I am unsure what to do to get the website displaying. I can go into the admin of shopify however I don’t know what to do from there.

Kind regards

Sue from Impressionist Gallery

Thanks for your reply, @Impressionist .

When searching your DNS records for your domain impressionistgallerynz.com, it appears there are no DNS records set. When navigating to your website I see the following error message: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.

Could you advise if you recently purchased this domain or if you’ve had it for some time? If you’ve had this domain for some time, then this error message may appear if the domain was not verified via email when it was purchased.

You can troubleshoot the domain by following these steps:

  • Head to your Shopify admin > Settings > Domains section.

  • Select the root domain. The root domain does not contain a prefix such as www.

  • Under Verify your email address, click Resend email.

  • If you’re unable to locate this section, then you’ll need to update the email on file. This can be done from Settings > Domains, and select the domain name. There will be a drop-down menu named Domain settings.

  • Select Edit contact information to update the email address on file**.** This should automatically send the verification email.

After following the above steps, let us know if you’re able to receive the domain verification email.
