Im adding products and modifying my website but there is absolutely no change. Why is that ?

When you add a product, are you able to save the product? If so, once you save the product, do you see it under products in your admin? I need to gather some information to know if the changes are showing in the admin and not on the storefront or if they are not showing up at all.
