add to cart button is not on my website. every time I click a item it goes to another item. This is pretty frustrating because I’ve looked up this question and the steps listed under each post don’t work for me. can someone please help?
Hey, @lesha0821 .
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
It is possible that these issues could be caused by a third-party app or a custom theme. However, I don’t have enough information to determine what might be causing these issues without taking a look at your URL. With that said, were there any new apps installed recently that could be causing these issues? Also, which theme are you using at the moment?
If you’re unable to identify the problem, then it looks like we’ll need to access your account in order to resolve these issues. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
I’d love to know if our Support team can help you get to the bottom of this. Keep me posted!
The only new app I’ve installed was integration with Etsy. But I’ve had this issue since i finished designing the store. The theme I’m using is Dawn. I’ve found different add to cart codes to add under snippets but i didn’t like it. I’m just looking for the correct code to the “add to cart” button to my website so people can add things to there cart.
once you click a item it goes to another item. It doesn’t give you the option to read the description of the item etc
Hey, @lesha0821 .
Thank you for following up and sharing the screenshot!
I’ve taken a look at your store (https://leshascosmetics.com/) and I wasn’t able to replicate the same issues on my end. I’ve performed several tests on both, desktop and mobile devices, and I was able to click on each of the products and view the product descriptions. I’m also able to add a product to my cart, and the same item appears on the cart and checkout pages as well.
As I’m unable to replicate the same issues, can you confirm if these issues are happening on a different browsers or devices?
