On my computer this code works but on other peoples its not always relaible, any reason why or how i could fix it? My Home page and About page both have videos and ive tried to mute thinking that was the issue but im still running into problems.

Other peoples “what”? OS, browser, versions, device type, etc etc.
Not everyone has the same setup, you must provide EXACT reproduction details when having some sort of issue, regardless if it’s technical or not, to even have a hope of fixing such an issue let alone hoping someone can contribute a fix.
