Why isn't the button on my policy page appearing?

Hello,

I was trying to create a button on my policy pages to show/hide some text onClick, but when I open the page it disregards the button tag and just shows the text. When I inspect the page with Chrome, the button tag is not there, but when I look at the HTML editor it is still there. I have checked my code on other pages and it works fine.

Can someone confirm if I’m not allowed to do this?

Please share your site URL and take a screenshot of the error.
So I can check and provide a solution here. Seem you customize snippet/this page because you can add any Html in CMS page Shopify.
